1 month is a reasonable time to learn the basics of a language i didn’t think it was sensible to take a longer break from cantonese than that i’d be visiting berlin for a week shortly after the end of the month. Learning german doesn't have to be hard. back in 2010, i went from a beginner level to near mastery in german in just 3 months. but i’m not a language genius, or a natural with languages.. In one month its too hard if you are not aware of german language much. there are tremendous amount of good books and videos channels are available on you-tube and on internet but still in one month you can not learn a1 level with quality..
